Ingredient Breakdown & Benefits:

1. L-Glutamine – 5000 mg
The most abundant amino acid in the gut lining, L-glutamine serves as the primary fuel for enterocytes (intestinal cells). It helps seal tight junctions, reduce permeability, and promote intestinal tissue regeneration.

2. N-Acetyl Glucosamine – 1000 mg
Supports mucin production and epithelial repair. It protects and soothes the gut lining and has been studied for benefits in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

3. Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL) – 1000 mg
Calms and coats the mucosal lining, reducing inflammation and protecting against acid irritation. Unlike standard licorice, DGL avoids any blood pressure elevation effects.

4. Mastic Gum – 250 mg
A traditional resin used to combat H. pylori, reduce inflammation, and support gastric and duodenal mucosa. Useful in functional dyspepsia and inflammatory bowel conditions.

5. Zinc Carnosine – 16 mg
A patented form of zinc that binds to carnosine for enhanced mucosal healing. Shown in studies to promote gastric lining integrity, reduce ulcers, and modulate inflammation

8. Akkermansia Probiotic – 1 Billion AFU
A next-generation keystone strain linked to gut barrier integrity, metabolic health, and immune modulation. Akkermansia muciniphila promotes mucin regeneration and helps reduce endotoxin translocation.

9. Slippery Elm Bark – 1000 mg
A mucilaginous herb that forms a protective coating along the gut lining. Supports ulcer healing, eases constipation or diarrhea, and calms inflamed GI tissues.

Who should not take this

• Do not use if you are allergic to shellfish (N-acetyl glucosamine is shellfish-derived) or to pistachio, cashew, or mango (mastic gum is from the same plant family).
• Do not use if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs — turmeric and ginger increase bleeding risk. Stop 2 weeks before surgery.
• Talk to your doctor first if you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction, liver disease, kidney disease, or a seizure disorder.
• Talk to your doctor first if your immune system is severely weakened (contains a live probiotic).
• Take all other medications at least 2 hours before or after LUMEN — slippery elm can coat the gut and reduce their absorption.
